Avid Delivers Media Composer and Avid Xpress Pro for Intel-Based Macs

By Frey | March 31, 2007

Avid’s website says they have released both Media Composer and Avid Xpress Pro for Intel-Based Macs! It looks like Media Composer & Xpress Pro will not only run on the Workstations, but will also run on Apple MacBook Pro’s (hurray). Unfortunately, it looks like Mojo and a few other goodies won’t work with the notebooks…

The world of film and video editing is really coming along this year for the Mac. From Avid’s just announced releases, to Adobe announcing that they will be bringing Premiere along with the entire Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Premium to the new Intel-Based Mac platforms this year. Yes, things are really moving ahead for Apple since they made the switch to Intel…

I’m just wondering if anyone will take notice and bring any of these nice programs to Linux?
