Short Film for the 48 Hour Film Project is Casting

By Frey | April 13, 2007

Director Zebo of ReelLight Films will be holding an open casting call for the 48 Hour Film Project. The 48HFP is a wild and crazy weekend where filmmakers must write, shoot, edit, and produce a short 5-7 minute film in just 48 hours. The final film will be screened at AFI Silver theater in downtown Silver Spring on the 2nd week of May, 2007.

Due to the nature of the project, the script will not be known until the day before the shoot. As a result, this will be a standby audition, and we will call you up the night before production if we decide to use you. This is an unpaid, volunteer position as required by the rules.

The details: — Open casting call (ages 18 and up) for standby roles at:
Arlington Independent Media 2701-C Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201
April 17, Tuesday, 7-8pm April 21, Saturday, 12-2pm.

The production date is:
May 5th, Saturday from 8am till 9pm around the University of Maryland College Park campus.

All cast members will be well paid in food, desserts, and a copy of the final film.
