Western to Be Shot on Eastern Shore (Short Film, Denton, MD)

Director Robert Thayer is looking for actors for his thesis film (for his Masters degree in Motion Pictures and Television at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco). Location is in Denton, MD.

REDBIRD is an 11 minute western. SAG or non-SAG actors, but can only offer food, a copy of the film , and credit. It is a not-for-profit production. If you love westerns, and always wanted to be in one, do not hesitate to contact me.

1. Male / 25-30 yrs. / Native American.
Redbird is a Native American attempting to conform to the white-man’s ways in the late 19th century. He wishes to face trial for his alleged murder of a white man. He is the catylist who forward’s change in Clint’s character.

2. Male / 25-30 yrs. / Native American.
Native American 1, one of the Native Americans that slaughtered Clint’s family. Need you for one day. Must be able to ride a horse.

3. Male / 25-30 yrs. / Native American.
Native American 2, one of the Native Americans that slaughtered Clint’s family. Need you for one day. Must be able to ride a horse.

4. Male / 25-30 yrs. / Native American.
Native American 3, one of the Native Americans that slaughtered Clint’s family. Need you for one day. Must be able to ride a horse.

5. Male / 61+ yrs. / White.
Clint Clark is a retired sheriff who is still haunted by the brutal murder of his family. He is the main character.

6. Male / 31-40 yrs. / White.
Sheriff Wallace, is injured most of the film and has only a few lines. He is the sheriff who replaced Clint when he reiterd to his mountain cabin in the Rockies.
