Full time Videographer needed for Retirement Living TV in Columbia, MD. Starts ASAP.
Retirement Living TV is looking for a full-time Videographer (DP) with 10+ years experience to join their production team. This position will support a wide variety of production styles, including: field production, documentary style, sit-down interviews, and studio camera operations. This position will be fast paced and the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment is key.
Knowledge of, and experience with, a variety of professional video production equipment is required. Experience with the Panasonic SDX-900 (DVCPRO) is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have very strong lighting skills for both indoor and outdoor situations. Knowledge of field based audio production techniques and editing skills using Final Cut Pro are also desirable.
The role of the Videographer (DP) will include, but is not limited to:
• Support multiple shows with EFP and ENG shoots
• Maintain cameras, audio mixers, light kits and related equipment
• Assist producer(s) in meeting scheduled deadlines for video packages
• Assist Production and Post Production departments in setting the benchmark for high quality production standards
Candidates should have great organization skills and possess high level of attention to detail. This position requires the ability to travel, sometimes with short notice.
