Another screening of “Deadlands: The Rising” At The Balticon Sci-Fi Convention

By Frey | May 23, 2007

Director Gary Ugarek of WETNWILDRADIO Films just emailed me to let me know that the Maryland based zombie film Deadlands: The Rising will be screening at 12:00 midnight this Friday 05/25/2007 at the Balticon Sci-Fi Convention at the Huntsville, MD Marriot.

Deadlands, shot on an $11,000 budget, shows the events of when an unexplained explosion turns the citizens of Baltimore, MD into flesh eating zombies. The film recently completed a limited theatrical engagement and is now roaming the land on DVD.

Director Gary Ugarek will be introduced by local horror host Count Gore Vidal at the screening and he will be available after the show to answer questions. For more information about the convention visit www.balticon.org

Deadlands: The Rising is presented UNRATED.
