Actors Needed In Richmond For Adult Swim Style Animation

Director Dan Grudovich of SureShot Productions needs actors for an “Adult Swim style” animation pilot starting June 24th.

“Roles involve faces being recorded in front of a green screen while bodies and backgrounds are animated. Comedic improvisation is encouraged. There will be five rehearsals and one day of shooting. The pilot will be shopped to Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, and various film festivals. Work is unpaid but participants will receive samples in any format needed for a reel as well as first dibs on paid work if the pilot is picked up. Casting will be held on July 28th at the Shafer Street Playhouse (VCU’s Monroe Park Campus) Room 201 between 1:00 and 6:00. Please contact Dan at dgrudovich@hotmail.com to set appointment time. Applicants are required to prepare a 1 to 3 minute monolog (any style) as well as reading from a provided script sample.”
