Technical Post Pro Supervisor Needed in DC

Story House Productions is looking for a Technical Post Pro Supervisor in Washington DC, starting June 11 and running thru September 30, 2007.
Applicant should be a capable and responsible person who is able to supervise the workflow and the output of their Post Production department in their DC office.
“Tasks involve the preparation of the camera footage for transcription, logging and edit, managing media drives and digitizing, preparing the projects on Avid Xpress HD and MC, playing out the projects at various stages (RC, FC and Mastering) and sound mix preparation (exporting omf etc.), as well as close communication with our editorial staff. Prior experience as assistant editor is the minimum requirement, experience with HD production as well and intimate knowledge of Avid Xpress Pro HD and MC on both platforms (Mac and PC) an absolute must; knowledge of tapeless workflows such as XDCam a plus. Since this is a central position within our production, we would expect applicants to also have very good ‘people skills’. This is a full paid position which starts now and ends September 30.
