KAKEcast News, a division of Scorpio Studios, has opened an internship program that may lead to a full time paying position for the right candidates. Job description is as follows:
“ASSOCIATE PRODUCER (s) organizes programs and is responsible for client scripts and booking of anchors. This person is responsible for the gathering of the news elements such as graphics and video from the client that goes into a program. Usually a team effort working with both the client and CEP (Chief Engineer Producer), they set client news priorities and assist with organizing the logistics of each program. They confirm script approval with client and prepare news packages for voicing by anchors. Must be detail-orientated and have skills in computer and word-processor operation. A journalism and/or Mass Comm background is preferred. Interns can work from home 90% of the time. Full time paying positions will be filled at a later date at the corporate offices located in Baltimore near BWI airport for qualifying interns.
