Actors Needed For Family-Oriented Short Film

Maryland is for film makers“Darling Towne Films, in conjunction with Tidewater Productions, is seeking suitable actors for its family-oriented short film to be shot primarily in Baltimore County, Harford County, and the Eastern Shore. Scheduling will be mostly weekends and evenings, from late summer to early winter, 2007. Film is initially for competition purposes. Lead part is an African-American female at 3 stages in her life – late elementary school, junior high school, and early high school. Supporting characters include a Caucasian male, same stages as above (but slightly older than the lead character at each stage), and both a 30-40 some year old African-American female, and a Caucasian male, to portray their respective parents at the three stages in their lives. Note: A parent or a legal guardian must be available and present during filming for all minors participating. No exceptions. A variety of extras, all ages, races, male and female, are needed as well. A limited number of production positions are also available (lighting, sound, production assistant, etc.). Both experienced and non-experienced may apply.”
