DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determining through an academic development process which information in a course can be best represented through video, animations, simulations, or other multimedia in a wide variety of technologies.

Expertise in more than one technology highly preferred.

This position works closely with the Program Designer to identify subject matter experts and develop compelling media targeted at a specific audience.

Directs Subject Matter Experts in the refining of their material into concise modules that fit program templates.

Directing video shoots that capture Subject Matter Experts, and Practitioners in the field. This responsibility includes providing the technical expertise to insure that all media is captured or produced at a professional broadcast quality and that it is appropriate for the predetermined template.

Managing the production budgets for courses. Monitoring directly expenditures on travel, the hiring of crew or subcontractors, and expert compensation. Monitoring indirectly the cost of production, editing, graphics, and final delivery in post-production.

Managing the pre-production process by guiding the production coordinator through the hiring and assigning of staff and contractors, and the setting of schedules. Informing all participants of the logistical details of an upcoming shoot and/or the acquisition of archival materials.

Overseeing the assembly of all elements into the final product.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Advanced knowledge of one or several types of media including digital video, Flash, and After Effects with DVD integration. Budgeting, scheduling and the development of concepts into compelling targeted media product.

Master’s Degree preferred.

10 years Broadcast standard Industrial programming with Multi-Media components.

Experience in developing education platform in healthcare a plus.
