Director Erick Fix of View From the Hill Productions is currently casting for the short film In Heroic Fashion in Harrisburg, PA. Duration of the shoot will be 5 days, starting November 23, 2007
Written and directed by Erick Fix, a senior film student from Messiah College, the film will be 20min long and will be shot on the new (August 07) RED ONE 4K video camera, the first video camera to rival film for resolution and quality (www.red.com). The budget will be $20,000 used for equipment rentals, food, art department, etc.
The film opens as a clever young man cons a stranger out of his breakfast through an intricate story made up on the spot. The short film A Raisin in the Sun by director Charles Reed of Royalty Films will be casting at Howard University in October.
Seeking versatile African American actors for Graduate short film adaptation of Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun shooting in Washington, D.C tentatively scheduled for mid-November.
