Short Film “A Raisin in the Sun” Holding Auditions at Howard University In October

The short film A Raisin in the Sun by director Charles Reed of Royalty Films will be casting at Howard University in October.

Seeking versatile African American actors for Graduate short film adaptation of Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun shooting in Washington, D.C tentatively scheduled for mid-November.

Compensation includes meals, performance credit, and a copy of the project.

Auditions will be held at Howard University’s John H. Johnson School of Communications at 525 Bryant Street, NW, Washington, DC 20059:

1) Saturday, October 6th, 2007 1pm-5pm 2) Sunday, October 7th, 4pm – 6pm 3) Saturday, October 13th, 11am-1pm

Note: Enter from side door of the building on the side closest to WHUR. Take the stairs or elevator to Room 211,213.

Please be prepared to present a dramatic monologue (not to exceed two minutes), and to complete a cold read. Include role you wish to audition for and ideal audition date/time.
