Actors needed for casting call: Director Reid Bailey of Bailey Films is looking for actors for the shortfilm/webisode “Vampire Crime Fighter Girl” to be shot in Fredericksburg, VA for 3 days, starting 1/27/08.
This project is being shot as a 2-3 minute trailer for a webisode series, and submitted to various content providers. Sorry, but no union talent for this one.
This is a sardonic look at the vampire genre, so bring your sense of humor. ‘Following a brutal attack, a cop discovers that she’s now a vampire and working for a secret government agency that battles the forces of darkness, which are, of course, bent on global domination.’
We will be shooting in and around the Fredericksburg, Va area 1/27, 1/28,2/1-2/3 depending upon people’s availability. We won’t be shooting all 5 days.
There is no pay but you will receive credit, a copy of the finished project, and food. Since this is material for a trailer it will be an easy shoot.
I realize how last minute this is but we’re up against a deadline. We are primarily looking for people in the Fredericksburg region. We don’t have the budget for travel/lodging expenses.

It’s not a deal breaker if you can’t make the meeting. I’m also looking for one or two extra production hands.
