Film Festival: Come Join The Baltimore Women’s Film Festival This October

My apologies to everyone - I’ve been busy as heck the past few weeks, so posts have been rather sparse. BUT, here’s one for you - Marisa of the The Baltimore Women’s Film Festival sent this in yesterday:
The Baltimore Women’s Film Festival (www.bwfilmfestival.com) will take place Thurs Oct 23-Sun, Oct 26 at Landmark’s Harbor East Theatre (645 President St). Over 100 films will be screened including shorts, features, documentaries, animations and music videos. More than 30 filmmakers from around the world will be in attendance to discuss their work. The complete festival schedule and line-up of films can be found at http://baltimorewomens.bside.com/2008/schedule. The BWFF also includes a free Live Music Showcase on opening night (Thurs, Oct 23), a Festival Gala Sat night (Oct 25), as well as Filmmaker Q/As, a silent auction, an Award Ceremony and other great events. Two films will be screened free on Sun, Oct 25th as part of Free Fall Baltimore. All other tickets are $10; VIP all-access passes are $80. Half of proceeds go to support breast cancer patients at the Johns Hopkins Avon Foundation Breast Center. More information, tickets, list of films and schedule at www.bwfilmfestival.com
