Production: Frankenstein Meets Freud (Short Film)
Shoot Dates: 3/21/09-3/22/09
Location: Harford County
Director: Natalie Jonah. This is a student produced film for the School of Visual Arts in NYC. The project is a comedic short about the true psychology of a monster. Transportation will be compensated and food will be provided as well as a copy of the finished film upon completion. Casting will be held on 02/22/09. Location and appointment times will be disclosed by 2/19/09.

Cast Breakdown
Frankenstein Monster/Caucasian/25-35 yrs – Frankenstein Monster is a sweet tempered monster with good intentions, but is always misunderstood. He’s going to Sigmund as a last resort to get over his issues in life. Is it his temper that gets in the way, or his relationships?
Sigmund/Caucasian/45-55 yrs – This character is based on the psychiatrist Sigmund Freud. In this particular tale he has become a specialist in the psychology of monsters, vampires, and zombies alike. He’s confident that he’s the person who can help the Frankenstein Monster get over his issues.
Dr. Frankenstein/Caucasian/35-45 yrs – Dr. Frankenstein is a neurotic scientist who specializes in alchemy with the modern sciences. His life’s work was poured into the creation of Frankenstein Monster, but the result of his efforts was a bit disappointing. Will he be able to patch up his relationship with the Monster?
Ida/Caucasian-Blonde/6-10 yrs – This character is a young villager of Transylvania. At first glance she is very sweet and innocent, but in time her true high maintenance nature puts her in hot water with the monster.
Mrs. Monster/Caucasian/25-35 yrs – This character is reminiscent of the monsters wife in Bride of Frankenstein. She only makes one distinct shriek repeatedly, but it’s an important shriek that’s vital to the humor of the scene. The challenge of the character is not in dialog but in body language.
