Short Screenplays needed for our 2009 Annual Screenplay Competition (25 pages or less). Filmmakers For Tomorrow Foundation (FFTF) will produce and film the best screenplay for our 2009 Summer Film Project. The winner receives $500.00 Cash Award. The extended Submission Deadline is now Monday, April 6, 2009.

Successful candidate must CURRENTLY RESIDE IN MARYLAND and have a Bachelorâ€™s degree and prior experience as a Producer working with a variety of content mediums including video and film. Experience producing a variety of genres, including features, commercial spots, videos preferred. Good script writing ability is essential. Great communication skills, attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, ability to multi-task, punctuality, and dependability is required. Advanced PC skills with strong experience with MS Office needed. Ability to shoot video and edit on Final Cut Pro edit system is a plus. 		<description><![CDATA[If you write screenplays and you haven&#8217;t tried Celtx yet, then you are really missing out.
Officially, it&#8217;s still not in it&#8217;s &#8220;final version 1.0&#8243; yet, but at version 0.99.1, it&#8217;s close enough. I&#8217;ve been using Celtx for close to two years now, and I have to say it&#8217;s come quite a long way since my first try. But even then, it was a worthy enough program that I quit using the copy of Final Draft 5 that I had on my computer at the time. And now that Celtx is all grown up, with even more great features, it sure is the way to write a screenplay, and other pre-production things.
I&#8217;ve written several screenplays with Celtx at this point, including the script for The Arcturus System, a sci-fi feature we&#8217;re working on (currently in production). I couldn&#8217;t be happier spending all my hard earned money on it&#8230; Haha, just kidding. ...]]></description>
