Triangles in Photography and Cinema
You may not know that you subconsciously notice triangles in pictures, but you do. Maybe it goes back to our hunter-gatherer days when we’d look into the trees for food, or to make sure there wasn’t a hungry leopard ready to pounce. As you’ll notice, branches extending from the tree make a “V”, and the added shape of a squirrel, a bird, or even a leopard would easily turn it into a triangle. Or maybe we’re programmed to notice triangles because of hills and valleys? At the bottom of most valleys lies water in the form of a stream, river, or lake. Along with the new layout, it seems it’s time for a few other things to change as well – namely the sites mission. MarylandFilms.com has always been about independent film and acting news (and, more recently, photography news), with a few helpful tips and other great film & acting information here and there. While the format was okay, it was not optimal… So, as stated above, MarylandFilms.com is changing it’s focus to be more of a film and photography blog. Laserjet Printers vs Inkjet Printers for printing photography – what’s the deal? Why are we even talking about it here? Well, we’re discussing it on MarylandFilms.com because it’s very much related to printing your photography, your storyboards, and your film’s posters. Need I say more? If you don’t know the difference, inkjet printers use ink cartridges and squirt small dots of ink onto the paper. Whereas laserjet printers use lasers, much like in Star Wars to blow up… errr… No?
